K12 2027 BACK-TO-SCHOOL SIX WEEKLY INSTAGRAM PHOTO SWEEPSTAKES (EACH A “WEEKLY SWEEPSTAKES,” AND COLLECTIVELY, THE “WEEKLY SWEEPSTAKES”), EACH ENTRANT REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS THAT THEY MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS DETAILED WITHIN THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT FAILURE TO MEET ALL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. The Weekly Sweepstakes entry period begins at 12:00:00 a.m. ET on August 3, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on September 13, 2026.
Each Weekly Sweepstakes runs during the following period:
For each Weekly Sweepstakes, entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the final day of the applicable weekly entry period.
The Weekly Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old and are the parent or legal guardian of a student enrolled in, or accepted to begin the 2026–2027 school year at, a K12-powered school at the time of entry (“Entrant” or “You”). The Entrant must submit the entry on behalf of the student shown or described in the entry.
Employees of Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, distributors, vendors, and partners involved in the administration of the Weekly Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”), and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household, are not eligible to enter or win.
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
During an applicable Weekly Sweepstakes entry period, an eligible Entrant must:
The Instagram post must remain publicly viewable until winners for the applicable week have been verified. Entrants with private Instagram accounts are not eligible to enter a Weekly Sweepstakes through a hashtag post.
A family may submit more than one eligible student and may post more than one entry during a weekly entry period, provided each entry uses a different photograph. Multiple children may appear in one entry, but the household will be treated as one Entrant for prize-limit purposes.
Each person or household may win only once across all Weekly Sweepstakes conducted during the Sweepstakes period. A previous Weekly Sweepstakes winner is not eligible to win in a later week.
Instagram is not a sponsor, administrator, or endorser of the Sweepstakes. By entering, each Entrant releases Instagram from all responsibility relating to the Sweepstakes.
All written content must be in English and all photographs and written responses must be the Entrant’s original content or content that the Entrant has full legal authority to submit.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry for any reason in its sole and absolute discretion.
Entry does not guarantee publication, promotion, placement in a gallery, or use on any Sponsor website or social media channel.
Entries may not include AI-generated people, AI-generated photographs, or material alterations that misrepresent the student or first-day experience.
Basic cropping, brightness, and color correction are permitted.
Written responses must reflect the family’s genuine experience and may not be fabricated.
By entering the Weekly Instagram Sweepstakes, Entrant understands that eligible entries may be viewed by Sponsor for purposes of administering the Sweepstakes, verifying eligibility, and selecting potential winners.
Sponsor may like, comment on, or otherwise engage with eligible Instagram entries through normal platform functionality.
If Sponsor wishes to use an Entrant’s Instagram content for marketing, advertising, public relations, digital asset management, or any purpose beyond Instagram’s standard platform features, Sponsor will separately request the Entrant’s permission through its approved content permission process.
Granting such permission is voluntary and is not required to enter or win the Weekly Sweepstakes.
Instagram is not responsible for the administration of this Sweepstakes and is released from any liability associated with the Sweepstakes.
For each of the six Weekly Sweepstakes, Sponsor will randomly select six potential winners from all verified, eligible entries received during the applicable weekly entry period:
The $50 gift-card winner is in addition to, and will not be counted as, one of the five plushie-only winners for that week.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable weekly entry period.

Prizes are not redeemable for cash and are non-assignable and non-transferable.
No substitutions are permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, or a portion of a prize, with one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state, local, and income taxes and any incidental expenses associated with the prize that are not expressly specified.

Prizes will be awarded within approximately 30 days after winner verification.
Entrant agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor.
Entrant, on behalf of Entrant and Entrant’s heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors, and assigns (“Releasing Parties”), releases, defends, indemnifies, and holds harmless the Sweepstakes Entities and the employees, officers, directors, and agents of each (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or causes of action arising out of or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, except to the extent such release is prohibited by law.
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agents to use the winner’s name, prize won, hometown, likeness, photograph, and statements for advertising, trade, promotional, and publicity purposes in any media now known or later developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission.

By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrant consents to the collection and use of information by Sponsor and its affiliates and subsidiaries for Sweepstakes administration, winner notification, content review, and fulfillment.
Information may also be used for future communications by U.S. mail, telephone, text message, or email regarding Sponsor’s products and services, current offers, and promotions only to the extent permitted by law.
